The First Presbyterian Church at 2431 1st Street, Coal Valley is going to have a Holy Land Pilgrimage right in our own back yard. On September 12th and 13th, the church will be hosting a scale tour of the Biblical holy sites in the Holy Land. The tour will have two parts. The first tour will take you through ancient Israel which will include the place of Jesus’ birth, Nazareth, Capernaum, Damascus and many others. The second tour will lead you through Jerusalem and will include the Temple Mount, the Wailing Wall, the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Via Dolorosa and many other important places. Both parts of the tour will feature pictures and informative narrative about the Biblical significance of each site.
The Holy Land Pilgrimage is free of charge and will be open for self-guided tours Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th from noon until 5:00 p.m. There will be guided tours at the top of each hour.
The Holy Land Pilgrimagewill give you a good idea of what you would see, its Biblical significance and where you would see it. This is an experience you will not want to miss.
